Helen Carnate
Helen is the original founder/author of
Journey of a Freshie. She skated with
New Hampshire Roller Derby from January 2010 to April 2011 and was drafted as an alternate to the
Seabrook Meltdowns home team. After skating she served as PR & Marketing Chair, League Coordinator, WFTDA Representative, Webmaster, and more. In early 2012, she began announcing for NHRD and called her first tournament in August of that year. In mid-2013 she became
AFTDA certified and has since announced at several national-level tournaments around the country. Next stop? THE WORLD.
Freshmeat Sonya
Sonya would like you to know she has little to no idea what she is doing, but she’s having a lot of fun doing it. Brand new to derby,
New Hampshire Roller Derby, and the
Millyard Misfits, she is hoping to learn more by attending practices and scrimmages whenever possible, and is considering an attempt to NSO in the near future.
